A year of gratitude...

As many walked in

Few walked out as well

With whatever little

I had for myself

I evolved & learnt to accept

When what I wished for

Seemed like far from reality

Even miracles seemed like

Way too far to fetch anything beyond

I have striven & learnt to live in the moment

When I gave up, once & for all

As I headed my way through

Trying to sink in the feeling

And yearned for peace

I struggled & learnt to listen to in silence

When I thought it was over

They resurfaced from nowhere

I couldn't find a reason

And kept wondering how, why & for what

I gave in & learnt to believe in miracles

I had learnt to accept

I had learnt to give in

I had learnt to listen more

I had learnt to live for the moment

I had learnt to appreciate

From all that is given

All I would want to say is

Thank you!

In short a year of surprise for me. My fears, identity, desires are still deep hidden within myself, but seems like someone is following my thoughts & making way for it.

 I see it

But I don't feel it

What I feel

Is never seen

By hiding my own feelings

I am seeking to see my reflections

Chase

The unclear notions

Left me always wondering

If it was a yes or no

With the wavering thoughts

I was playing alone

In the see-saw

Realized the ups & down

Were just my chase
